Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 28 11:20 am)
Well P4's texture map has the face mapped separately and a little larger, so you get more refined details and Steve's Evolution figure has more realistic looking joint parameters, but most of the reality in this comes from the way I have done the skin texture map. You could probably accomplish close to the same thing in P3 if you have some artistic skills. The hair was heavily touched up in Photoshop. Still haven't found a good way to get hair to look really realistic without touch-up. PSlighting also plays a big part in how realistic your renderings look. Most Poser presets are WAY too harsh. I have the lights' intensities set down to about 30% and the shadow maps up around 1000. Then I moved the lights around until I got a look I liked. Alas, nothing is simple!
