I'm using Poser v 4.03 and I can't use .png files because Poser doesn't recognize them...does anyone know why? I know other people use .png's for texture maps but I can't and I don't understand why not...some enlightment would very much be appreciated...

I thought Poser only used PNGs for ProPack thumbnails, but I could be wrong.

I got some emails from the NG saying PPP uses .png's...no PPP..no .png's....:>) Thanks!

I have the original Poser 4 with the latest update, no PPP, and PNG works for textures for me. Win98SE.

I don't have ppp but Poser 4 reads PNG files for textures fine on my system, poser 4.03 w/ windows 2000. It won't export PNG picutres though. Perhaps this is akin to the no gif problem some people have? Which may (or may not) be related to not having Quicktime installed.
