Subject: PPP, 3DSMax, and textures...

I am trying to learn an easier way to get around a problem I'm having with the PPP figure in 3DSMax. The materials load into the material editor fine, but they do not have any texture mapping linked to them. I can add that using the sub material options, but I have to add the texture to each component (skin, eyes, lips, brows, nails, lashes, etc.) Is there a faster way? Would a MAT file help and if so, where is a good place to learn about that? Thanks for the tips!

Be sure you have the servic pack 1 upgrade..available at Curious Labs site. It solved this problem.

I do have the SP 1 installed. I'm using Max 4... any other thoughts?

Nope - it works for me exactly the right way - poser figures come into max fully textured correctly.

I'm in Max 4 too and many of the figures I had the same problem with before the service pack straightened out after installing it. Only thing I can think of is you do have to resave any pz3 files after the SP1 installation for them work.

Maybe the service pack installed int he wrong place?
