Subject: suggestions please

Could someone please give me some suggestions for this shot. There is something just not right and I can't put my finger on it. Bear in mind i am working with a digital

I like the interplay between the darkness and the light sections. I think you picture is missing something to balance it on the left side perhaps the upper left corner. Either that or you could lighten ( or is it brighten ) the entire picture BUT if you do that then I think you will want to add something into the extreme right side. Bsteph

Thanks for the tips. Jack I realy like what you did. I will try some more stuff tonight base on the suggestions I received and see where it goes.

I like this--and the tighter crop may be what you didn't know you wanted to do LOL. Really visually interesting.

I dunno - I like the original. OK, it's not so tight, but BANG! your eyes go STRAIGHT to the candle then gently drift to left as if on a summer breeze..... (Good pic, bad prosaic moment......)
