While I don't spend a lot of time here, I notice a common woe among us - where to host our free files for download. I've had too many problems with free sites, and read all your horror stories about them. I'm not too thrilled about $50 a month for a pay site, but a cheaper option might be this, and keeps it "in the family" ;) Renderosity offers an amount of webspace, for a small fee per month, just like a web host. We upload our free files to it, and the files will (most likely) download faster since they're on Renderosity's servers. Say the limit might be 20MB for $10 or something like that. Afforable for just about all of us, I think. Obviously, lots of little details come into play, but that's the basic idea. The service would be only for Renderosity members, and only files meant for free stuff are allowed. Am I out of line even suggesting this, or are the logistics just too much?
