There is ABSOLUTELY NO POSTWORK on this image. I didn't even add my sig. On the left is the default poser horse as it loads into poser. On the right is a morphed, posed horse with texture, trans and bump maps. The mane is the DAZ Charger mane with my texture and trans. Quite a difference, huh?

how did you get the shadows with no postwork?

I used Nerd's Backdrop prop.

lol! is that how the horse really loads? mine doesnt. of course, mine has been 'adjusted,' so i dont really remember how it started out. :)

Yep, that's how it loads. Of course, I haven't loaded the default horse in ages either.
