I think this is possibly the keyframing bug rampant in the original release of Bryce 3D. What you need to do is turn off auto-key frame. On the very bottom there's a row of icons. On the far right is a roundish one. Clicking on this switches you back and forth between animation controls and selections controls down here. Be sure the animation controls are visible. Then there will be a little triangle toward the right side to click for a menu. Be sure auto key is UNchecked here. Then, whenever you do anything in any lab or anything, look at the bottom of your screen to see if a little gold key has lit up. If it has, hit the minus sign next to it to delete it. B3D was making extra keyframes all over the place and when it saved them with your project, sometimes your project would open up on a different frame than when you saved it and groups would explode and terrains disappear. Good stuff like that. You can also delete all the keyframes from your scene but I don't know how to do that (I don't use animation in Bryce). This won't solve everything, but should take care of most of the problems. Spit

I use Bryce 3 and am a beginner, Im having some trouble grouping objects. This happens all the time, but most recently when I grouped a monk that I had downloaded with a skull face and eyes, everything went well till I started working on other parts of the scene, then all the parts of the group flew apart all over the place! lol I have grouped a pyramid with a sphere in the past and this happened also. What the heck am I doing wrong?
