Well I have been able to duplicate this error many times with different scenes. I dont know how many people have played with the network rendering option. But here's the deal, if you pick an object or terrain makes no difference and choose to render based on depth of field (keeping that object in focus), then use the network render option(which only works with animation) using host also, choose .bmp for the output format, and let her go. Well it zooms in and crops the crap outta your picture along with making it gainy as heck. If anyone can verify this problem and that its not just me I would love it. Try it, put something in the front, something in the middle, and something in the back, choose the item in the middle and use the network render option.. And if you get it to work right please let me know what I am doing wrong.

I'm not having great succes rendering over the network when trying to render a still image. I havn't tried to render an animation yet, but I'm questioning the network rendering for single frame still images. kaom

It wont let you render like we think of as a single frame, it wants to render as an animation, even though you are only "animating" a single frame it is still an animation if you are using network rendering.

I too am having problems with textures changing when rendering over a network. The odd thing is when you go into bryce's temp directory and pull out that rendering job it renders fine in Bryce 5 but doesn't hold its textures in Bryce lightning. Griggs
