Hello Good Poser People, I've had my Poser 4 upgrade for almost a month and hoo-boy, have I had problems. I have a figure that I saved without a hassle, but now if I load that file and save again, a mysterious 'material' shows up in the surface materials that hides the figure's skin! Can anyone help? I think the problem is the figure got corrupted somehow. Is there any utilities I can use to check the validity of the poser file? I also had the same kind of problem with a 3ds prop that had surface materials named 'Material #1', etc. When I changed their names to something else, the prop worked fine. Thanks, Keith

From what I understand, this is because Poser cannot read past the spacing in the names of the materials. Rename the materials in a text editor to something else and it should work fine. For example, Poser sees Material #1 as Material Hope this helps, Co(V)(V)union
