I'm sure you guys have already been asked this question before, but here i go: I've downloaded some extra clothing objects and poses for my Poser 4, I know how to import objects into a scene but what if i want to save these objects into the libary, what do i do? i tried importing a bikini top into a blank scene (no figure in scene) but the add to libary cross/button didn't come up, so i added a figure to the scene, but when i saved it it saved the figure as well. Also i downloaded some color palletes for hair how would i use them to change hair colour

can you give the specific file names and extensions of the items that wouldn't save? otherwise we have to guess what you're doing ;-)

some of the files are in the cr2, rsr and obj format

your problem might be that you're trying to import things that should actually be in one of the prop or character libraries. you can add an imported object to the prop library, but cr2 files aren't handled that way. when you download a cr2 file, it will often have a readme file to explain how to use it, and in some cases it will extract to the correct library automatically.
