Well, it's August 13th already. Haven't heard anymore about August's Photo Contest. Are we taking the month off?? Nick

Well, it's August 13th already. Haven't heard anymore about JULY's Photo Contest. Are we putting this forum on the back burner???

Hey Alpha when did the decision to take street pictures happen? I thought we were still in the voting stage with respect to that. I checked out the August photo contest thread and I'm not quite sure when the suggestion appeared to take street pictures appeared. First there was some suggestions to take portraits. Then there was the guggestion to restart the thread. When when the thread was restarted it was suggested to take portraits. Most said that it was OK. I deffered-basically because I didn't understand where that idea came from. From what I gather you are almost validating that the portrait contest is a fact. However I have no information to indicate this. While we're on the subject of past threads what happened to the photo essay idea? I liked it. Does anyone else want to make a photo essay other than me and Alpha and Jordy? Bsteph

OK. And yes she should be at Sigraph at least that is what her site says. At least she should be there on the 14 of August. OK. This is different than what I understood. I thought that the new contest was surprise pictures of people on the street AND I can also see how it could have been born from the earlier threads. Thanks Alpha. Bsteph
