Subject: 4 questions re:making new figures

I just bought PPP and am experienced in Rhino so I am aiming to make some new figures, but I have a few questions: 1) Are figures created with PPP backwards compatible with Poser 4x? Is there anything that needs to be done to make them compatible if not (i.e. is the fact they don't save as rsr and use png previews an issue)? 2) Is there a quick and easy way to zoom in on a small area of the bdoy using the orthogonal (right/front/top) cameras? They are targetted to the feet and if I want to zoom in on the shoulder it requires lots of zooming and panning to get there. Can the camera targets be changed? Or the cameras dragged in a different viewport? 3) Is it possible to place figures in the props directory? I've made some posable props and don't really want to have them appear in the figures directory since it's more appropriate that they appear in the props library. The + sign to add them to the props directory doesn't appear once they've become a figure and if I move the .cr2, .obj, and .png files to that directory by ahnd, they still don't appear in the library within Poser. Any options? 4) I've modelled an object in Rhino and assigned sections of the objects to groups (also done this in UV Mapper). When I bone the object in PPP it refuses to assign the polys in the named groups to bones that I created with the same names. Am I missing something obvious or has this worked for others? It seems ridiculous that I have to hit the auto group button then spend a ton of time re-selecting the polys to assign them to the appropriate bones when the model was created with this in mind. Ok, so it's not really only 4 questions, but I appreciate any answers anyone might have. TIA Axe
