You can eliminate the background and then set a plane behind it, say black, then take the render into Photoshop or Photopaint and remove the background. If you go into the Skylab, you can turn off the atmosphere and then remove the ground plane. One method. :)
The doctor says I have way too much blood in my caffeine system.
You will have to forgive my ignorance but I couldnt find anywhere to Delete things like the ground plane etc. Can you give me a bit more detail, please. I quite like this program but for me to buy it is around $900 NZ and I want to make sure I really can do what I want before I invest the money. Bluerose
Just select the ground plane and hit delete. Then go into skylab, there is a preset for simple black background, no fog or haze. Arleen
There are a lot of things worse than dying, being afraid all the time would be one.

Hi I have the demo of Bryce 5. What I want to do is create things (trees, rocks etc) in Bryce with a transparent background, and then put them on top of a Terragen image. I am talking about flat 2d images, just dealing with layers and stuff. Is it possible to create things with a transparent background in Bryce? TIA BlueRose
