Anything specific? I want to build a broad range of sets eventually, but right now I'm trying to figure out where to start. A small starship with a complete interior? An apartment? An alien temple? A grocery store? A downtown street exterior? What do you people want most? Maybe gojira-san will get to send Vicki to McDonald's yet...
Topping my list would be An old-fashioned One-Room Schoolhouse with the old Inkwell-type desks mounted on rails A "Victorian" period house with furn (Painted Ladies- type of architecture) Tudor-type Old English cottage or Manor House with Furn. Movie-Studio type lot with many sets Walled English Country Garden Pirate-Era galleon with interiors & small oceanscape surrounding mieaevil type Peasant village (generic) with farmfields around Sci-Fi Barroom/Cantina 7-11 with stocked shelves Fantasy Castles seem popular, too These are things I'd want to look over if I found them online & if the prices were reasonable, I'd definitely buy any that seem sell done. ($10-50.00 wouldn't be out of bounds, depending on subject & quality) The sets would need to be distributed both as conmplete poser units, and also broken up, as individual rooms, separate interior/exterior, etc. for versatility, ease of use for relative newbies, and to minimize the strain on Poser's limited memory management resources. As you complete each Set, you might pick a few of the smaller props,to post in freebies as samples of your quality, & to induce people to seek the set out in the marketplace (or wherever you post it). Also include a pic/preview of the complete Set in each Freebie. I'd even be interrested in a McDonalds :)
There are no strip malls around and they are relatively simple in construction. I like a good exterior. An interior as a part of a set which has an exterior is only needed when it is necessary to see into or out of the interior. Like with picture windows. Other interior shots can be made with primitives for walls.

I'm not really into the period stuff and wouldn't have any idea about that kind of thing, but sets like strip malls, city street scenes, and, of course, McD's (though I'd probably have to call it McDaniels or Burger Hut or something to avoid getting eaten by wild, rabid lawyers...) are all under consideration. Your opinions count on this one(unlike other issues around here, but I'm done talking about that...).
Ditto! Here's my list: OUTDOOR: City streets (modern to semi-future), Military Installations Suburbia Industrial Complex Airports (Civilian and Military) INDOOR: Inside all of the above (except City Streets obviously) Professional/Office Interiors Grand Chambers ... Government, Institutions, Wealthy Mall or Marketplace

I would like to see more fantasy roman styled sets, especially if we communicate about so that we don't release competing but complimentive works. As for Pirate ships and such I was thinking of making some based on some blue prints I have, untill I found: http://www15.brinkster.com/mdaniel/3dmeshdwload.html For fantasy stuff, I would recomend you get: Everyday Life Trhough the Ages, by Readers Digest, The Encyclopeida Britania or any other hisorical books. I use these as guides but I also take a lot of artistic lisence. What I would really think would be cool and I may do this my self is an ancient or fantasy styled Doc for the boats in a town or city. The water could be done so cool. Transparency Maps and then a few waves points :) but I have yet to research that. I noticed a lot of my customers in this thread. I just wanted to say Hi to you all and I hope you are enjoying that new Free Stuff and Updates Section it should be updated again probably next week or the week after that I have a few more downloads for you. If you haven't seen it yet just email me for the link at Contact_MEproductions_2hotmail.com Deimos.Attached Link: http://www.renderosity.com/~deimos/

Is there much call for sets? I've seen a few in the marketplace, a restaurant, a factory, etc. Do these sell (I noticed they weren't topping the Best Sellers list)? I've considered making some to sell (and maybe some freebies, too, but I've GOT to pay off this software first:) ), with more realistic textures than most I've seen. Is it worth it? And what sort of sets would you like to see? Interiors, exteriors, sci-fi, everyday stuff? Or would it all just be a waste of my time?
