Im thinking about buying the eagle,now that they have the summersale.Butthey say that the wings cant be folded near to the body.but not how near or far.Someone please tell me how he looks with folded wings??

heyas; pervers, i adjusted the joints of the eagle wing to fold a LITTLE better, and they fold right up to the body, but they don't look quite right. hmmmmmm.... i know i posted a pic (animated gif actually) of it a long time ago at the poserforum online. probably somewhere here in the archives, too. i never got around yet to releasing the new cr2, but i will in a week or so. if you look in my gallery here (or at my web site) at the "overlook" image, you can see a gryphon which is made out of the eagle, with the wings folded. dont know if that is clear enough for you to see very well. if you need more info, bug me, and i'll get you a pic. right now i'm working on trying to get the suckers to fold right, but i am not having much success. :/

isn't there a free adler eagle somewhere? Not that daz's isn't great. I've spent $$$ with DAZ this month no reason you shouldn't too :)

I just modeled a Robin. I made two versions. One at rest and one for flying. When It came to the final render I made an avi of it coming in and landing then mostly tucking it's wing. Then I cut to a different camera angle with the version of the robin that had no wings.

heyas; the adler isn't posable. at least, last i heard! :) oh, pervers.... if you go to the daz site and look under motions and stuff... posamation has some eagle motions and they fold the wings up, you can peek at the preview. its small, but it looks very good. (wish i knew how they did that... ;) )

I have the motions set but alas, not the Eagle. I bought up all their motion stuff on a whim and have used a lot of it. Especially with stripper. The program that lets you delete parts of motion files just by clicking on the limb or body part you don't want affected. I think i'll go ahead, with the sale and buy the Eagle. If I do, I'll let you know the joint info on the folded wing. It'll be after the weekend.
