I am looking for three things and can't find them anywhere! Please help? First I cant find a decent texture for the Afro Hair Objects. Simply using a "Noisy" texture from Paint Shop Pro doesn't cut it for me :( Also for two of my other characters I can't find a pair of "granny-glasses"...you know, the half-height kind gramma would give you that look over the top before she gave you a stern lecture?...And a Nun's veil (it's been years since I "lapsed" so I forget what they're called) I tried the one that came with an Areala: Warrior nun figure, but it's too assymetric and impossible to develop morphs for! Any links or tips would be appreciated! Thanx! Starlok

As I remember, hmann? has an excellent transmapped "Jimmy" Afro hair from his Jimmy Hendrix model in the store, if you want to invest in a good hair model.

Thanks,, but unfortunately since I lost my day job, I'm pretty much living hand to mouth. When i'm once againt in a profitable situation, I'll be back to online purchasing (it's like going into Walmart...you just want to buy a pair of jeans, and next thing you know you're blowing $80-90 on stuff you just had to have!) I was just hoping some one could point me to another texture that I could use to fake it...I used to use a greyscale texture (of a kitchen sponge!) that I filtered and layered that came out pretty well when applied as a BUMP but the bargain-bin interior design CD that I yanked it from has gone missing. Now I can't rebuild it. Damn CD had the best butcher block wood texture I'd seen!

The sponge is a clever idea. I'll keep my eyes open for something useful. Good luck on the job hunt!
