Subject: Vicky 2 Clothing ??

Blitter ( ) posted Thu, 30 August 2001 at 9:47 AM ยท edited Tue, 24 December 2024 at 4:11 AM

I've been very pleased with Vicky 2 as a model, however, I am discouraged that there are no clothing sets made for her. Some of the Vicky 1 clothing set items fit her ok, others do not at all. I thought someone was endeavoring to translate the Vicky 1 clothes to Vicky 2. Any news here ? Also, there are no plans to create new clothing -- realistic clothing ? Like a shirt pack would be awesome!

The Vicky 2 clothes pack, the one you were asking about translating the morphs, should be out next week. I've attached a quick test render showing the skirt, boots and bikini top with Barbarian at 1.0 and Breast Size 6 at 0.25. Mike is just off the picture lying crumpled on the floor after just having been kicked. After many delays next week should see release. The link will take you to my site which describes what's going on with the clothes pack. The release date is obviously OBE but everything else on the site is accurate. You can also see a sample of the morph mapping software results at the Daz site. The "Millennium Girls' Morphing Clothing Pak 1" uses the same morph mapping code that is being used for the Vicky 2 clothes pack. It also set the Vicky 2 clothes pack back a couple of weeks as I put that aside to get the morphs out for the girls release. There is one small crack in the skirt in the picture but it's there even without any morphs set. Can't fix them all. For everyone who has The Cartoon Channel, there is an ad that strikes home for Vickies current clothing choices. "All I want is a pair of pants! A decent pair of PANTS!"

jbrugion, I'm glad to hear the pack is almost out. I've been fighting with myself to wait until it came out pick up Vicky's clothing pack (poor Vicky doesn't have much to wear on my computer, aside from Posette's clothes). I'll definitely be picking this up then. I'm also glad I looked at the website, because I wasn't sure if this package would include the clothing or not. Good thing I looked. For anyone curious, here's what I'm referring to: "Pricing will be $24.95 for the Clothes Pack. This will be the CR2's to make the Vicki 1 clothes fit Vicki 2. You will still need to have purchased the original Vicki 1 clothes pack to use the Vicki 2 pack." I guess I ought to go buy the clothing pack while it's still 30% off, eh? :)

Maybe I'm confused, but Vicki 2 wears all of the original Vicki clothes and the P4 clothes, as well. That's why they gave her two bodies so she can wear both. Any of the clothes, with the exception of specially morphed characters (like Supermodel Vicki), and the special body type morphs for Vicki 2, will fit one or the other of her two body types. Point is that the pack by 3DWizard and the one I'm releasing is that the clothes DO fit the body morphs. You can dial vicky up to superheroine or heavy or faerie and the clothes will have equivalent dials to match the morphed figure.

Right, and I don't know about everyone else, but I like using various morphs that come with Vicky 2 aside from just facial morphs, and well, it's a hassle setting up magnets to make everything fit. And the P4 version doesn't have much for morphs...maybe I'm just weird. :D I also don't like the way body looks (a bit muscular). I've seen it said before that the P4 version is good for using for regular scenes, and using regular Vicky for nude scenes, but I just would rather be able to use either for either. Just a matter of principle.

Sounds great! I'll look for these soon when I have another payday under my belt (or whenever they're available). Melanie
