Subject: Poser 4 won't export usable .3ds or .dxf for 3D Studio MAX. Why?

I just upgraded to Poser 4. I had been exporting .3ds models out of Poser for use in 3D Studio MAX. But Poser 4 doesn't work. When importing .3ds files into MAX i get the error "invalid file format'. (this happens in versions 1,2,and 2.5of MAX) Also Poser 4 doesn't seem to take long to procees the models during the export operation. Also the .dxf exports take for ever to export, then look like low rez crap when Max imports them. One of the main reasons I have Poser is to use this feature and now it doesn't work. I hope this is just a user problem and someone can tell me what I'm doing wrong. I've tried exporting many different figures with various options and they all fail. Thanks. -Vince

Try using OBJ until the patch comes out. -JH.
