Ok, maybe someone here can give me a hand. I got my hands on an older copy of Vue (3dworldmag or something like that ring a bell?), so I thought I'd use it for rendering stuff I do in Poser since I've seen some nice work done with Vue. Well, no matter what I try, I end up getting the wackiness seen above. I've even grabbed the demo of WB3 just to try another program for rendering, and I get the same sort of thing. What am I doing wrong? The model renders fine in Poser (I know there's a slight booboo at the eyebrows), but I'm at a loss here. Any suggestions? Please? (In case it matters, that's Vicky 2, but everything is setup right on her, and I exported it as an object (.obj) from Poser and just imported it as such in Vue.)

You're not doing anything wrong, this is how the Millenium folk typically import as OBJ. You'll need to make some setting changes in the transparency tab of the upper eyebrow, eyelashes and whatever that eye-thing is called. All those items need to be set to 100% transparent, and the brows and lashes also need the transmap loaded as a transparency alpha. Um, instead of me trying to plow through details, let me point you to a couple tutorials for this. :) Importing Michael into Vue http://www.renderosity.com/tutlink.ez?tutorialid=150 Transparency mapping for P4 figures in Vue http://www.renderosity.com/tutlink.ez?tutorialid=95 Importing Poser OBJs in Vue http://www.renderosity.com/tutlink.ez?tutorialid=171

Ah, well that makes me feel better that I didn't do anything wrong, but instead missed doing a few more things. I'll go ahead and take a look at all of those tutorials. Thanks a bunch, and I'll see if I can get some better results. I'm really looking forward to playing with this program!
