The Victoria Clothing Pack at Daz is a great value (especially when they take of 30%!) and has a lot of versitality. You might also want to look into taking out subscription to PW/FW (www.poserworld.com) -- They have a lot of vickie clothes and also give you free access to their first 3 CD's, which also have some Vicky clothes on them. There are also some clothing items for Vicky in the Renderosity store. Hope this helps you out... Jim

DAZ3D's Victoria Clothing Pack 1 is a great all round package for Vicky because you can do so many things with it. You get a lot of clothes for the money particulary with 30% off. However as it stands now it does not have any morphs in it. That is if you take Vicky 2 and use the barbarian morph the clothes will not fit. I have an addon package that adds morphs to the DAZ3d clothing package, (which you must have for this to work), which will make the clothes fit a number of the Vicky 2 morphs. I also have a package that will make some of the standard Poser 4 clothes fit a morphed Vicky 2 and no other product is required for this. I hope you will check it out. Thanks,Hi, Well, I bought the clothing pack, but to be honest, I've never used it that much, but then, untill I bought Jim Burton's SMV and a Handspan's "Brigit" I never used Vicky that much either, the body was great but that face, (sheesh!) Having said that, I've just bought some lingerie transmaps from the store for the bikini, (in the past two weeks or so) and that has made a difference ;) Having said that though, there is a much better bikini, available at the 3D comics collective: www.3d-cc.com, (in the "misc" section I beleive) I've also tried to buy some stuff from Daz, but the last two attemps they bounced my card, (even though the store here didn't) and when I get the time, I'll phone them up and find out why :) I also bought V2.0, but if I load her up with hair and textures, my machine locks, so I've not even tried to add clothing... So my opinion is, by all means buy the clothing pack, but buy some decent trans and texture maps too, otherwise it doesn't look that great, (at least compared to SMV's clothing, which actually fits! :) Billy T's stuff is quite good, though. I bought the angel dress and sandals, but every time I use it, the .rsr corrupts, (which is more my machine's fault than that of the clothing :) and he has some good free stuff on his site, www.billy-factory.com (I think...) then there is some great stuff available from ISO, and Rubio, but you'll find link to them on Billy-T's site, or via digital babes, (link at right, under "Web Ring Top 15") If you need stuff to make the clothing pack fit V2.0 in some of her more extreme guises, Wyrmmaster has some magnets for Voluptuous Vicky on his site, (free) that might help with the chest, as well as a tutorial on how to use them... Phil's Lingerie also comes with some morphs, for the upper body, though I'm finding it a little difficult to adapt to some custom characters without a lot of mucking about, as they don't conform properly. Though again, that's more a problem with my models, as the certainly "hug" Vicky in all the right places ;) later jb
Thanks for all of the inputs... JB, I understand how the perversion part goes, having spent hours and hours reshaping nekkid women on my machine! Even thought about giving one of them a call last night (I just can't stand the thought of being rejected though)... Sooooooooooooo, as it goes, here's what I did: I bought the Clothing Pack at Daz as well as a couple of textures. Then I grabbed 3dwizard's Morphing Pack 3 because of the problems some folks have mentioned about a proper fit---it seems to work pretty well at the obvious places, but need to see how to fix things like the arms and other less "sensual places." I need to play with it for a while. My next post (having fallen in love with Paloma) will have this woman clothed- finally. I've read some good things about SMV and will check it out pronto. Thanks.

This might be a loaded question to ask (not that I expect any bias or anything :) ) But I was wondering, based on some folks' experience here, what set of clothing (from here/DAZ/?) provides the most versatility... Either in some period pieces or contemporary styles. For now, I'm not going after any fantasy/armor/sci-fi looks (although I certainly anticipate getting there in the future as well). With DAZ having a 30% off sale through Monday too, this could be a good time to buy. Thanks.
