This is an unfinished image of an prop I use in an image with an monorail station. I'm not completely satisfied with the material on the outside surface of the "train" Please give me your comment or suggestions. Ionah

I think the texture looks perfectly fine. It gives it a sort of "used" look...what are you using for in the picture? If you want a futurestic look, then I wouldnt use that texture...I would try to find a more shiney metal type texture. It all depends on what your going to have in the scene :)

I want to create different "trains" , new and used. I think this one is the new one. The older should be more weathered / corroded.

Sweet model. Why not just use a painted surface like rides at Disneyland and Six Flags. If you use metal then I would either go for a lightly weathered copper or possibly a bronze like this but a little darker and with more surface details like scratches.

Now those are sharp looking!! Great Job. I do think they look fine as-is, but If your wanting a more sleek/futuristic look, then maybe a nice smooth metal texture(maybe a dulled silver) would look great on them also. FT
