Hi buddies, Concerning this pic, in fact I got a Photo of ruins of a church including the gras and a poor sky shoot ... I deleted all the sky and made a new one with a PS plugin called 'Four Seasons' ... if you want to get it ... well ... I also aplied colour changes and so on ... then putting the characters in the image with care of the border to make it as smooth as possible (use a select on your character in PS and then, in the select menu 'modify', 'contract' by 2 pixels, select 'inverse' selection and apply a blur effect with the background layer visible). For the sun effect, I also used a plug in called Flare Effects, which provides much more beautiful Lens Flares than PS only do (stars, ...). The best advice I can give is to keep a layer for each part of the pic (5 for this one : Background with church ruins and gras, Sky, Dragon, Horseman, Elve), and to work on each in order to equalize contrast and ambient colors. Finally merge the layers in a copy of your PSD file and apply your lighting effect. That's it !
