Maybe it's me, but has anyone else noticed that the same images keep making their way to the front of the list in the Gallery? I didn't know why this happened until just yesterday, when I corrected the credits on my "Eri the Merciless" image, and it suddenly became the "newest" addition. Now I notice that people seem to be purposely editing their notes just to have their pic move to the more-frequently-viewed front page. You can't really blame them though, seeing that pictures are lucky to last a day on the front page before they're lost in the shuffle again. It's just a thought, but I was wondering if the forum staff had ever considered dividing the Gallery up by topic (such as Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Humor, etc.). I realize it would be extra work, but it would make it easier to browse through one's favorite types of images, as well as give pictures a bit longer time on their individual section's "front page". Like I said though, just an idea. I'm very happy just seeing the amount of new additions the Gallery receives, and always look forward to the future creative creations of this forum. :) SnowS

I agree that sections would help. Maybe the edit system could be programmed so that older posts don't move to the top when edited unless completely removed and reloaded. I don't know how much trouble that would be but it's just a thought.

We are working on installing two more galleries and a way that the older posts don't move to the front. Jack
