Pan, For your amusement, here is **my** take on the tutorial in CA38 Paul

Hey Paul, That's really nice. I think the hair textures they gave away are really good. It is difficult to do hair in Bryce. Do you know they have a new Photoshop special out? Colm...) PS: It reminds me of a trip to Sweeden I did to visit a girl...Say no more????

Hey nice! I was wondering though...in our haste to make these images we never REALLY explain just what the heck these chicks are doing out in the middle of a barren winter wonderland! haha....hmmm. Great job...I'm going to really have to play with that tutorial...I wanted to really create something awesome with it... Hey Colm, Not sure if it's been re-released but the Photoshop special came out a while back along with a neat 3d special that gave away view point models and truespace2 (full software for FREE). Word had it they were planning on releasing them again due to the fact demand was so high... I'm currently battling 3 other geeks in my community for "first" to the book store when it comes to the specials. Seems they've discovered my secret location for acquiring the specials and we all race to beat eachother and make sure we get a copy. hahaha...I've got a truck so I pretty much park where I wanna and I'm usually the first there! hehehehe PAN~

Pan - Colm's talking about a new (not a re-printed) Photoshop Special. It came out here in the UK about the same time as the CA38 issue. Lots of Plug-in demos on the CD. -Tony

Yeah I think it came out this week or the week before. I was disapointed with the first one as it was mainly rehashes of previous tutorials but this new one seems better. I have collected them all since issue 12. I wish I could get the ones before that. Out of all the computer graphics mags I have seen I think it is the best. It has a very one to one feel about it. Good mixture of amateur and professional based articles and tutorials...And of course great CD's.

I knew someome was in the UK, when I saw this thread. I'm a CA reader(in the USA) from issue #19. I was grateful they did the first PHOTOSHOP Spoeial because they reprinted some material from the first 18 issues I missed. Now I have two more goodies to look forward to later this monrh.
