I'm thinking about getting Bryce. But I'd like to know if you can import DAZ's Victoria with her hair and eye maps with their transparacies into Bryce? I have Carrara now and it comes in like clay!

lightwave, photoshop, oreo's...tools of the trade.

You have to set the transparencies by hand, but it does work just fine. A minutes work at most. Tom

Thank you so much for the responses!! I have Carrar which I love, but it can't handle vicky. Beside I wanted to get Bryce for it's great scenery ability anyway. Just a couple of questions: Could I import a Carrara scene into Bryce? How good is it's redering engine/light setup? Will all the texture carry over?

cant say anything about import of carrarascenes into bryce. In my opinion the renderengine of bryce is ok and lightsetup too.And they made some improvement in bryce 5 (pic done in bryce 4) Go to www.corel.com ,you can get a trialversion of bryce 5.0 ,think thats the best way
