Subject: Poser Pro Pack Service Pack 3 Pulled from CLs Website

Does anyone know why? Did it create more problems than it solved?

As I said in an earlier thread. It is in the download section of the CL site.

I'm sure it was when you last checked it - probably a couple of days ago. However, if you go there right now all you will find is: > Pro Pack Service Release 3 has temporarly been removed. > Please check back later for it. The only other explanation would be some sort of parallel universe, one with the patch, and one without... :-) If the rumours about the reason of its removal are true, I must confess that I find it terribly amusing - after all this mess that we went through some weeks ago.

Martin, You are right. I just went to the download page but didn't check the link there. And I think its funny if the above reason is true.

It's true. The admins yanked all the postings with the info Bloodsong mentioned. CLs linke at the top of the page gives the e-mail address to their antipiracy group. I don't think they check their email often enough but that may change. Heck of a thing to do right on the eve of a price increase.

I had read all those postings also. Then, later when I looked, they were gone. Pretty funny though.

I just purchased it, and went there to get the SR3 update, and it was gone. I sent email asking it be sent to me, or that I be told where I could download it, and the tech who answered said it was being updated, and would be back up shortly... he implied it could even be sometime today.

oh, i'm sorry. was i not supposed to mention that bit i mentioned? here, i'll delete it. it was taken down, allegedly, due to a slightly major technical problem concerning security and stuff. how's that?

Bloodsong, Without going into details, you are correct as to why SR3 was removed. A revised version of the updater is almost ready for release. Cooper
