Ok, it looks good to me so far. The painting was a sort of last-minute decision. I chose it mostly because I already had it in .bmp format to import, though I think it looks rather appropriate there. Made a few minor fixes and whatnot, so I'm almost ready to post it to the gallery (and my webpage)... Anyone have any suggestions that might make it look better? Thanks in advance.

Try putting some items on top of the bookcase in the corner , that would give it the eye attraction it needs. I like it though , especially the carpet.

Placing the top of a table in the bottom right corner may add depth without causing clutter.... The options for a diary or half folded map or whatever on the table top may bring another form of life to an already superb pic. ed

Over all it looks great! But....... That painting seems out of place to me in a scene like that. It looks to modern for the surroundings. An older painting would do it better justice, thats just my take on it. Nice work though.

I agree with you Neal.. I've just found another painting - this one more suitable in my opinion - in my huge collection, so I'm putting it in. It'll be a while before I post it, since I'll be out of town for the weekend. Thanks for the help everyone.
