Hehe no, I am the creator. At the request of someone who was planning to purchase I began developing SeaDragon addon for it.

Mallen this is great!! i got the baby and she love it in my library. you seem on a rool will this be a seperate model or what?

MallenLane ( ) posted Fri, 21 September 2001 at 3:05 PM

No I hopefully plan it to be a lower cost addon to the original. I am also considering a conforming prop, and morph set for the future; adding things like horns, spines, plates, facial morphs that make the hatchling bit sterner looking, and possibly more adult. =)

Now where are the adult versions? These are seriously cute!

Crescent: Well I am really caught up in finishing the SeaDragon atm, so I don't have a lot to share about an adult scaled/morphed version yet. But you would be amazed at what a little bit of scaling of the Hatchling already out will get you in the way of a more "adult" dragon.

If it's possible, I like him even better as a sea dragon. This is way too cool. Carolly

Beauty! I was just at DAZ to buy the hatchling, but there was a problem with their order page - kept coming up with someone else's order info & shopping cart contents, every time I hit refresh, another customer's info came up - scary thought to have your order info avail for anyone who hits checkout, so I decided to check back in a couple of days, Shame, I REALLY love the hatchling! ( Tried to click into DAZ's homepage to report it, & my browser crashed ) The SeaDrake looks incredible! Will it have morphable wings? I think with bigger wings, it'd look even more air-worthy than the regular hexaped-style. Ditto the question; How Soon?

Thanks for the compliments. I dunno what's up with the Daz store. = The wing-fins have 4 morphs for the currently that match the tail and the spine fin. They seemed to capture most of the shapes I thought looked appealing. No size morph, but I always try to insure that my models scale as good as possible with the normal Poser scaling dials. Infact the entire above more "adult" style dragon is done only using scaling of the same cr2 that's for sale now. I plan to add morphs to enhance the illusion eventually however. I don't have a release date for the addon yet. I'm pretty picky about my work, and often slow to produce. But considering that I only started a few days ago on the seadragon version, its coming along pretty quickly. =)
