Subject: Help with Vertex Model?

This is the first vertex model that I've made even though I started with RayDream3! I can't seem to get the hands slit area to map light correctly, any suggestions on what I've done wrong? If not, I'll just fix in postwork as it will be quicker. My last resort is to change which finger is extended & move on to something else. Thanks willf

it looks like the hand slit normals need to be flipped

That's what I thought but couldn't find a "flip normals" widget in the menu. Thanks

That comes probably from the soft shadows settings : lower the bias and see if it helps . litst

OK, I fixed it. Turned out that I didn't have the vertices linked properly. That's what happens when you rely on one modeler to do all your work and ahy the polymesh thingy was grayed out. Could have done this with a Spline model but would require way to much effort. Thanks again for the response.
