Subject: Help me, I'm an Anton addict

JetM ( ) posted Sat, 29 September 2001 at 1:18 PM · edited Fri, 02 August 2024 at 2:07 AM

As I sit here, downloading the Adventurers from DAZ, I find myself feeling bereft because I chose not to buy Magic as well. I had to make the choice, you understand. I simply could not buy both. That would be too much. My poor credit card can only take so much. It started with EveryBed, I think, but didn't stop there. VCFS, MCFS, Changing ponytail, Olympians. I used to be OK, but now I get a serious twitch every time I see something new of his at DAZ. Worse. I think I'm beginning to sense when something new is there! I doubt there is a cure. I'm sure I'll just suffer. Thank you for hearing my plight. But it's all so much... FUN! JetM P.S. Anton, I thank you even if my credit card doesn't!

I know how you feel, hard to go there and not pick up a few things myself, but I keep thinking I want to keep my house so I don't...LOL Sharen

~sigh~ and i just bought the olympians yesterday. It is ok, we are going to start an Anton Support group. We will all support each other when the twitches hit. The best support will be to point you in the direction of yet another great and new Anton masterpiece. ;-)

Both Anton and Dmentia. sigh It's hard having to choose sometimes... and they always release things together too.

JetM ( ) posted Sat, 29 September 2001 at 6:46 PM

sigh It's so GOOD to know I'm not alone! Yes, when is the therapy forum starting? I also find myself insanely jealous of those who get to test out his stuff! Ah well, gues you have to be a bit more into the technical side of things. I've made a few texture maps but I tend to lose interest. Now, if I didn't have a full time job... Oh, wait, then how would I buy my new Anton fix? WAAAAA! :)

Good news Poser-Shop-A-Holics. I'm currently developing a set of patches that will increase your Poser-related-product resistance... simply apply to both eyes prior to visiting any site with poser products for sale, and it is guaranteed to stop your from purchasing any new products. Simply remove the patches when you've turned off your computer. Your credit card will thank you! (I'm one to talk... I spend WAY too much money on poser. Where'd I leave my patches...)

guslaw ( ) posted Sat, 29 September 2001 at 9:33 PM

...yeah, but look at all the money you can save if you buy the stuff at DAZ when it's first introduced or here at R'sity when its on sale. 15% here, 30% there, it all adds up. I must have saved at least 500% in the last year or so... (seeing how much money I saved, how come my credit card is still screeming 'ouch!'?)

JetM ( ) posted Sat, 29 September 2001 at 10:35 PM

Are you kidding! It's the 30% off and 15% off that gets me! I buy things that I might need in the future now while they're on sale. sigh who's turn was it to get coffee and donuts? Oh, and are those patches for everyone? Do they come in my size? I dunno. I've got big eyes when it comes to DAZ

My patent pending patches, come in a variety of sizes, including "standard" and "millineum". :) The "standard" size however can be used by anyone with slight modifications in size and position.
