Subject: Wave Hair from digitalbabes2.com - Problems

G'day, I am new to the world of poser and animation and have so far managed to get far enough into it that i can animate some things. My quest broadened to the need for more models and props which led me to this site. I downloaded Wave Hair from digitalbabes2.com and installed it as per the instructions. The problem is that the hair hovers above the models head. I am using the standard P4 model for this. Can anyone suggest a fix for this?

heyas; i believe the wave hair was built specifically for victoria. however, you can use it on anybody else. just load your figure, load the hair, and then move the hair into position. you might want to turn the transparency off while you do this, so you can see the model ;) you might need to scale, too. once you get it 'fitted' to your model, save it to the hair library under a new name (wavehairp4, for example). ps: once you load the wave hair, try parenting it to the head with 'inherit bends' turned on. that makes it flow as the head moves and turns. try it out and see how you like it.

Thanks for your advice bloodsong. I found a hair pose preset for this hair type under MAT_WaveHair called P4_female which lines the hair up correctly. All the other presets elevate the hair which must be correct for the Victoria model. I have written down the X,Y and Z tran values which will correctly align this hair type on the P4 female model. They are: X tran: 0.02 y tran: -0.019 z tran: 0.005 Thanks again for your advice. Hope that these numbers help other people with the same problems. Cheers! Dope_Fish
