I was cleaning out my garden today, and had to capture one of the last flowers of summer. The entire flower was under 2 inches (about 4.5cm), and I'd never noticed how beautiful, yet simple the centers were until now.

Saw this one at work today, on a 14" monitor and 800x600 resolution...and disliked it... Now,I'm at home, before my 17" monitor with 1280x1024 resolution...and the picture is a totally different experience...so very beautiful..! :)

Thanks! Probably should have posted it smaller since (I hear) that most people have their monitor set at 800x600. I thought the most common setting was 1024x768, but maybe not. You cant get the full effect of any picture when you have to scroll to see all of it.

Please do continue to post images suitable for 1280x1024 (OK, at least 1024x768...), the one and only screen resolution that I use at my home PC till I first bought it 2.5 years ago..! Too selfish..? But really, that is the resolution with the view..! :)
