Its very nicely executed, but theres something very toy-like in the appearance of the policecar. The building facade textures are very nice; are they original?

Very clean and yes, a little toy like, but from what I see, it looks like that was the idea. ;) Sweet!!

Very nice... Love the textures on the building... Did you model the building yourself??

Thanks for the comments. The buildings are nothing more than cubes with the texture applied. The textures, forgive me if Im wrong are from one of the freetexture sites, www.freetextures.com, I think. The police car is by me, its part of a set I made awhile back for my comic. You can see both by following the link. Part of the toylike appearance is due to the sun's lighting and the DOF effect. The fire escape(which is the whole point of the image) I found on a CD while looking for some files for someone else and thought since I had it opened, Id go ahead and load it into Bryce and save as a preset for later use. I got it loaded and textured, then slapped it on a building I already had finished, then one thing lead to another and you have what you see here. For not really putting much effort into it, I think it came out pretty good:) Ken

I really like your work ken. Where did you get the textures for the buildings? They are really good.

Great image, Ken. Wish I could do stuff like that while sleeping in the morning. Its a real feat for me just to get to the coffee pot without ramming a toe into something. (sorry for the pun, couldn't resist)
