'Evening all . . . 8^) I'd like to ask one of you Vue 4 wizards if there is any way to change the coloring of the leaves on a native Vue 4 tree? I've looked through the manual with "0" results. What I had in mind was to be able to change the coloring of a tree's foliage, to match the different seasons. Thanks in advance for any information & have a good one. ;^)

I think you can select the leaves separately from the trunk etc? tis how I got the flaming leaves on my 3rd or 4th render 8 ) on the right where it shows all the elements of the scene, open up the tree and the different parts should be there, just select the leaf material then change it? heh heh.... hard to remember what I did with the programme about 16 miles away from me.

Vue 4 makes it easy to "tint" the foliage. Shown here are two plum trees, the leaves of the one to the right have been blended with orange. - Open the Material Summary. - Navigate to the leaves you want to tint, double-click to edit. - On the Color tab, mark "Blend with Color". - Right-click the blending color box and select the color you want to use as a tint - Raise the percentage slider to the appearance you want If you want more control over the colors, check out Guitta's tutorials for changing tree leaves. [Guitta's website](http://start.at/arte/) For a selection of alternate leaves to use on the trees, including some suitable for autumn displays, check out my website. :) [Treasures d'Esprit](http://www.varian.net/dreamview/dreamtools/vue/) And have fun! :)

Well you have it right, Wizzard! You were speaking of the Material Summary, which is explained in Guitta's tutorials. :)
