Subject: Morphs to reposition Dina's eyes

phoenixamon ( ) posted Thu, 18 October 2001 at 10:36 PM · edited Fri, 02 August 2024 at 1:58 AM

I just uploaded a set of the simplest possible morphs. :) They take the place of the absent X, Y and Z Trans dials so you can reposition Dina's eyeballs easily if face morphs move the eye sockets. Can't have her eyes popping out all over the place. ;) Hope they're useful to some. Phoenix

I appreciate the morphs, and I appreciate the humor of your gif - Many thanks for both! G

Not to disparage your donation, but are the trans dials just turned off in the CR2? In the channels for that part there will be a section for the translation, and if it is set to hidden=1 changing it to hidden=0 will allow you to see them. I've done this myself to keep people from setting things they shouldn't, but as long as you know what you are doing...

I know what you mean, Jim. I actually haven't even looked to see if the dials are turned off. I only know that Dan said he was going to look into making the eyes movable for inclusion in a minor upgrade. I prefer a morph to move the eyeballs in any character because if you move the eyes using the Trans dials and then have the eyes "point to" another object so the character appears to be looking at it, the eyes will lose their trans settings whenever you move the other object. With a morph to move them, that doesn't happen. So I just do this super-basic morph for all of the models. The method in my madness. ;) Phoenix
