Hi all Here's a newbie question: When I do a render out of Poser 4 the output image looks like a character out of a FPS - like a quake character as opposed to a Final Fantasy character. Is there something I need to do with regard to eyes and mouth and skin textures? Hope someone can help. Thanks Graham

First make shure that in the renderoptions antialiasing is turned on. Than try "render in new window" with a resulution about 200 ppi and a imagesize about 800 x 800 or so. Very best is to add a image to your question

Here is a pic of what is being rendered. I'm probably just trying to run before I can walk, but any tips would be appreciated. Cheers Graham

You might want to try the suggestions listed above. Also, make sure you are using smooth shaded as the display mode for your work. There is a possibility that the "comic style" of your render is related to the subject matter you're using. For instance, this is a picture of Victoria...She looks quite beautiful and real.

I do think , thats the way the figures look like ,that come with poser. And the standard textures and hair. Try to find some better textures in freestuff for them and some hair at "digital babes" ,link is somewhere on the right.

You might alos want to set your camera focal setting to at least 100, rather than the default 25. This will help flesh out you figures. Lighting is also something to play with. Melanie

You might also want to delete the default guy of Poser and get a better figure from the libraries on the right! Click "Figures" and there they are!
