Subject: Easy picture texture question

Hello all, I'm trying to figure out mapping of picture based textures in Bryce 4. Say I have a cube and I apply a brick texture from a picture (it's from a texture CD). Maps beautifully. If I then strectch the cube, the texture stretches with it. How can I make the texture stay the same "size" and just repeat? Seems like I have tried every combination. Along those same lines, if I shrink an object along a particular axis, the texture gets smaller on that face. I know part of it will probably involve scaling the texture with the "Edit" button in the DTE, but is it possible to do that without trial and error, if the object is shrunk/stretched consistantly? Any advice would be appreciated.

There are some posibilities,in the mat lab in the 3 windows where your texture is shown there is a button at the lower right, select it and in the menue appearing there are some menues with pictscaling,..tiling and so on,play with them.

Try mapping the picture in world space rather than parametric. I think this might work.
