Subject: Animating Colours Without Poser Pro

I had the idea to have a character morph into something else, changing texture colour pretty much everything, BUT I can't work out how to animate the colour changes with Poser, I know it's built into Pro but I don't have it yet, PLEASE can someone let me know if it can be done and how.

If you have something like Adobe Premiere or perhaps even Photoshop: 1 render your object in .tif format with each color so now you have two different .tif files or two different animation sequences. 2. bring in your .tifs as separate layers 3. in Photoshop smoothely change between the colors by varying the transparency of the top layer. save out along the way if you want to make a .gif sequence. 4. if you're in Premiere you can cross fade between the layers. the duration of the crossfade is easily set. just an idea. But if you are asking how do I do it in Poser? The materials aren't keyframable nor is the transparency. sorry.

thanks for the advice, that sounds pretty much like what I was after, the only problem with that is I wanted to animate all the rest of the changes at the same time, I've found a way of geting the affect I wanted in Bryce5 but it'll take weeks to do the whole transformation
