How about rather arguing, we figure out a suitable arrangement that is beneficial to both parties?? As always if you use someone else's texture, prop, character or god knows what else, TRY to post a credit to it. I don't much care for the idea of adding a link to every website who'se texture, prop and whatnot I use. I tried it once and it was a serious pain in the rump and I accidently left one or two people out. But after trying it once, I realized the pain it was and discontinued my effort in doing that. So here is my solution, Tanja it is up to you to accept it or not... When someone uses your companies texture, they mention that it is MICOgame's texture to where people who wish to get the texture to use for themselves can do so by the link I've provided to your company under the Web Resource section. As for "calling someone out" let me be perfectly clear about something. I don't tolerate FLAMES on this forum. People are able to speak their minds freely and creatively, but if you have a problem with someone saying something or doing something against you, don't bring it into my house and display it openly. I can respect and honor you having a problem with someone, I can even understand your frustration in regards to the person's e-mail not working or is a false e-mail, but I wont tolerate taking someone out into the public square and pummeling them. I hope that I have made myself clear on this issue. I run a company, not a day care center. Don't bring your company hit list into my company or any public humiliation tactics. It isn't good form and makes you look extremely unprofessional. It is my desire that my solution would be acceptable to you and your company so that the members are able to use your textures without feeling to confined. If not, then I will have to agree with you and plainly state that I am sorry and most likely you wont get the credit you want, or deserve for your efforts and hard work. Thank you Jack D. Kammerer

" If not, then I will have to agree with you and plainly state that I am sorry and most likely you wont get the credit you want, or deserve for your efforts and hard work.." Hmmm... rereading this now, doesn't seem right, let me rephrase it so it makes better sense.... "If not, then I will have to agree with you when you say "don't use our textures" and must plainly state that I am sorry and most likely, people wont use your textures because it is a little to confining to do on this forum all of the time, and if they don't then you will never get the credit you deserve for your efforts and hard work." I hope that is better written.... Jack

Fear is never a tool to be used to sway people to your fears. And, no offence to anyone, I won't turn my company or its members into a bunch of shock troopers to hunt down offenders. There are ways in which to deal with situations such as this. One of the most powerful ways is to deal with it respectably. MICOgames own's a company, like Zygote, MetaCreations and Dark Soul Images: Internet Media inc., they should have a legal staff that would handle the situation. True, we don't support warez or "mis-appropriated" products. If we find such, we report it. But we do not turn the community into a seething mass of blood thirsty vigalanties looking for revenge. It isn't our position and it isn't our place. Whether JonVon is guilty or innocent of what MICOgame's alledges, shouldn't be a topic handled by this forum or this community, since the offence is towards MICOgames not DSI or this forum. Several weeks ago there was a serial number stealer out there. We were notified about it, then contacted the parties who were responsible of the product it was offending. It was for their legal department to handle it discretely, not our job to pass sentence and judgement on the person. In the same regards, this holds true with JonVon. Since we don't know the whole story or the situation, what right have we to throw him to the wolves? Or attack him. Granted, it don't look good for him not responding to their e-mail. But for all we know, his mother could've died or some other situation that prevents him from answering at the present time. All in all, this wasn't handled professionally at all, and that is what truly disturbs me and I don't wish to see it occur again. It's just that simple. In isn't our business, so please don't make it such. Jack

Mattias, Thank you and I am sure that the members will be pleased with this answer. Just for the record, I understand why you did so, but next time please let me know if you have a problem like this and I will help address it in the future. Hopefully, this is only a one time occurance for this sort of thing. Jack
