Greets all :) OK, I have sat here now for almost 4 hours trying to get this little piece of clothing to fit this little girl nicely. I have tried to rotate, translate, bend, twist, side-2-side, and whatever else is possible with every different part of this clothing, and I have oficially given up now, I just can not get it to fit like the one in part A of the pic. It does not even conform to the default pose, and if I change poses and try to conform the cloth, it messes up everything completely. I dont know if the clothing is too small, if I have to redesign it in a 3D proggie, or if I'm just plain stupid. The part I have the most problems with is what I have circled in B. The piece draping over the shoulder. I am almost at the stage now where my next option is of course DELTREE C:POSER /Y..... problem solved !! Any help would be most appreciated. Ta. Luthor :)

It looks like you are trying to put the DAZ 3D Fantasy wrap for Vicky (mil. womman) onto Posette (P4 nude woman). Is this correct? If so it will take several magnets and some know how to make it fit since it was not designed for the P4 nude woman. If it is the right clothing on the right character then the character has been morphed. Thus again magnets would be needed to morph the clothing to fit.

Thanx Wizard I actually used the wrap by PhilC from the freestuff galleries, does that not fit on the P4 woman ?? I have noticed that not even the standard clothes in poser itself fit any of the models properly, and they don't even conform half accurate to different poses... is this a bug in the program ??? Ta. Luthor :)

I've found that Vickie's clothes don't necessarily fit Vickie (at least not Vickie 1.0). You can get around this problem by making the parts of the model that poke through the clothing invisible-- no good if you're using interesting transparency maps, however. The best solution-- and one I've yet to get to grips with-- is creating magnets that will morph the clothing; that way you can get the clothes to fit the model as you've designed it. But I'm only a beginner here, and can't offer any better advice than that.

I appreciated the confusion and hence updated the thumbnail some time back. My classical wrap was made for Vickie. It does not fit Posette.

Luthor: Did you try the 'Conform To...' command in the figure menu? With the clothing item selected, select the Conform To command then choose your figure from the drop-down list.

Thanx Strangechilde As you might have guessed, I am a beginner myself, so I think I'll pass up on the magnets & stuff for now, sounds a bit creepy to me still. Thanx for clarifying that PhilC ! :) Is there any such a piece of clothing that would fit Posette without too much magnetic influence ? ;) I really like this wrap-style clothing, and would like to do a historical sort of image if only I can find one that fits nicely. Jackson, as I have noted in my original post, the conform command messes up everything.. hehe. Thanx guyz ! Luthor :)
