Anywho... here's what I've got so far... I'm trying to avoid some of the errors I made with my Nikki texture (I promise I'll put her up into freestuff before this weekend)... this is just the basic skin texture with highlights and shadows (though not many since I want it to be able to look good with any lighting applied to the scene)... added a little blushing to her cheeks, and some detail to her lips (though you can't see it really well... it'll look better once I get the bump map made). Her eyebrows and eyelashes are from the Nikki transmaps I made... I haven't been able to make a new transmap that I like for this texture... the face morphing is all new, and I'm actually REALLY pleased with how it came out... I really like this face. Comments/Complaints/Concerns very much welcomed and appreciated. I probably won't have much time to work on this new texture again until this weekend, and I'm trying to take my time to get this one as close to perfect as I can...

cin, gotta know, are you male or female? cos in the other thread you said you're a big sensitive guy or something like that got me thinking you're a guy, but any other post i think you're a girl. totally off topic. :P anyway. yep, it looks good, and i realise you're not going for ultra realistic, so i won't tell you to desaturate those green eyes. if the lip bump is the same as from your nikki, i reckon you have to do something so the lines are not completely vertically parallel... cos they just looked odd on nikki - sorry forgot to post that in the last thread. add a bit of different colour under her eyes, i find most people have either darker or lighter skin under the eyes... and how bout render this on the p4? ;)

I tried out your Nikki texture ans mats. I'd say once you get it to free stuff prepare for bandwith drain, for I'll tell you all to get Nikki! she's a darker but WOW!! and this one looks much paler with would be a great addition to my CIN folder.

The texture is quite nice - a real looking Caucasian without the overly pink-tan that I see on many textures, but what really stands out to me is the face. It is differnt than most Vicki faces and very realistic looking. It reminds me of an actress, but I can't think of who, off hand.

April - Heh.. nope.. I'm a guy... I s'pose I'm just 'in touch with my feminine side'... lol I just think that's really funny... anyone who's ever met me in real life would agree... I'm 6'4" and far from "feminine" looking... but that's okay... I don't mind. It won't be the same bump map as I did for Nikki... Nikki was a huge learning experience for me... I think the lips on this one should turn out nicer... there are more, narrower lines... I hadn't noticed that Nikki's were vertical though, but I drew these in differently, so hopefully they'll come out better... You're right, I'm going for "realistic" as opposed to "real"... realistic in the illustrated way, not in the photographic way... and I like those eyes... they're one of my favorite things about it... I found a new way to make irises that comes out really nicely (in my oppinion)... I'll have to make a close up of the eyes so that people can see what they look like... I'll probably add a little more shadowing around the eyes, it seems a little too light to me anyway, so that should be fixed on the next go 'round. Render it on the P4? I wasn't sure what you meant at first, but I think I do now.. you mean your remapped P4fem that takes Vicky textures, right? I haven't actually downloaded it... I have dmentia's Posavic though, which does the same thing, so I can render it onto her... I never really thought about it... Lee - Heh.. I figured that Nikki would be a drain on bandwidth, which is why I'm going to wait until probably friday evening to put her up... she'll be hosted on the server here at work, and I don't want to cause too much trouble... This texture is a LOT paler than Nikki... though she's darker than the Mika texture I did for Natalia... she's kind of in the middle... I was going for an "olive" complexion, but I don't think I quite got it, though I'm pleased with how it did turn out.

Crescent - You posted while I was typing... :) Some of the skin tone is from the lighting... I did use "friendly" lighting for this first render... but I'll put up one using the same light set-up that soulhuntre used for the texture comparison thread from before, so that you can see and compare it in a fair way... if you figure out who you think she looks like, let me know... I wasn't trying to make her look like anyone in particular... just fiddling with dials. ;)

I like the face morph too! She is lovely. But...I don't like her lips. They are too much the same size on top and bottom. I would try to make the top lip thinner. I agree about some variation under the eyes. Other than those 2 things, she is going so well. I would love to have her in my collection. :)

She looks very nice Cin- but her lips are so pale I wonder if she has anemia :-) Daio, who has to put her PhD in nutrition to work ocassionally.

Daio - lol Maybe I should name her Anemia... I didn't put too much into her lips other than very basic detailing, and slight "pinking" so that you could see a difference... the lighting washed them out a little bit... but her lips will most certainly be a bit darker in the next round o' renders. Bia - I'll try thinning her upper lip a bit... I kind of like it how it is though... I like full lips... though I hate when it looks like someone's been smacked in the mouth with a 2x4.

i was wondering if you were male or female cos from experience males don't tend to ask as much about others' opinion -- you know the old joke of getting lost rather than ask for directions lol what i like most about this character is the morph, that's a nice head. the texture enhances it :)

Oh, if I get lost I'd so ask for direction... the bigger problem however would be that I don't drive... so if I got lost... well then my bus must have REALLY gone the wrong way... and I'd think that's more the driver's problem than mine... ;) I tend to ask people's oppinions a lot, I have a few self confidence issues... but that's a whole different story. I fiddled with the head morph a bit and thinned out the top lip.. unfortunately I forgot to make a render of it before I closed Poser, and since I'm sick (please read LOTS of whining into the word sick), I'm not doing anything that could be potentially frustrating at all tonight... I just want to put on my sweater, eat some soup and go to bed... I of course have to do all my online activities before I can curl up and fall asleep. ;)

Hmm... a little bit... but I think you might be right, it could just be the hair...
