Hi, I'm always Andrea from Italy. I've bought Victoria 2 for Poser 4 and the Pony Tail pack, when I render in Poser (obviously) all works good. The troubles starts when I export the figure (Victoria + hair) in Bryce 5, infact I cannot aplly the transparency map to the hair in the correct way. When I apply the transparency map to every single object of the hair the result is awful!!! Is it possible to obtain in Bryce the same Poser result? In the attached images yu can see the last window wich appears when I export the figure from Poser, what are the correct settings? Thanks for Every answer Hi Andrea

Also check the "Include existing groups in polygon groups" checkbox. Select the grouped figure, and click the button to go into "solo mode" in bryce [if you're not already doing that] so you can tab through all of the parts to select the hair obj parts. If the ponytail in the pack has seperate maps for the head part, and the ponytail part, make sure you're applying the right map to the right part - I've had horrid results on occassion with Kozaburo's ponytail by accidentally applying the HeadTrans.jpg to the Tail object. Also, make sure "blend transparency" is selected in the bryce material options. Sorry if I'm covering things you already thought of... just trying to cover all the possible things that might be going wrong. I haven't worked with that particular hair obj, so I'm extrapolating from other ponytails I've worked with in bryce...

I just go with the default, if you do that Bryce will group the stuff by materials (no, I don't understand why, either), which is O.K. for most uses anyway. Yes, you can get more-or-less the same result.
