Learn it all.

If you are intrested enough, you will find out all about those fancy dingdalongs and dome lights, too much technical information too early will kill the inspiration. Tech details can be (mainly) found in books, but somebody teaching and helping you for your journey is really rare. If I would have to choose only one, I would choose exploring. But do what feels good, what suits you, both areas are important, if you are getting serious with photography. .n

Sam, if yer talking about Concordia or Dawson, they are two completely different programs, and you really gotta think a lot before choosing what u wanna go into. Dawson will teach you everything you need to get a job in the industry, while supremely sacrificing your creative and artistic ability in the name of the capitalist whore. concordia is much like what we do on our own personal time, but don't expect to land any big job offers except maybe with Naitonal Geographic. Concordia will go into a dung load of theory with you though, and you will learn a lot though the class is daunting. You askikng other people what program YOU should go into is like asking me why the hell you eat cat food. No one but you will ever really know the answer to either of those. My advice is to go to both Dawson and Concordia, and hassle the hell out of everyone to get as much information as you possibly can. If yer actually talking about different schools (whered you get the moolaah for that man??), email the hell out of them to get as much info as you can. Most schools are usually quite willing to provide asm uch info as possible. ry
