Does someone know where to find photos of faces and bodys, because I would like to try to make some textures from partly real photos. And I dont have a digitalcamera yet. I've looked around the net, but found it hard to find pictures that are realy good. Thanks.

I'm looking for mainly for portrait of peoples faces, taken from the front and sides (In high res). But also photos of the whole body (no gen needed), front and back.

I usually take pictures of myself, my girlfriend or her kid, but how about looking for pics on fashion site? I found lots of usable images, heres a site: http://www.fashion.tripnet.se (check the links!!) And for nudity, well, there are lots of pornsites with fullbody images, female and male.

Well Maxx if you have a moustache and some stubble, I'd love a hires face shot. Facial hair photos are very hard to find in hires. }:-{|> I had a digital camera but it wasn't up to my standards, I brought it back and now I don't have the money to get another. Go figure. James

because a lot of you don't know this- here goes- I created all the original on-the-CD texture maps for the Poser 3 and Poser 4 humans, as well as most of the P3 and P4 animals when I was product manager of Poser at MetaCreations. I was a successful commercial artist before becoming an exec here. The Poser 4 maps were created using photos, the previous verion maps were all digital paint. For Poser 4 maps, I downloaded images from the most widespread resource for full unclothed human reference images- the adult news-groups. Meta gave me permission to do so, knowing what the intent was, and I sampled small sections as needed for all the maps, then composited them. I believe a few folks out there who create some vastly superior maps to the ones that I had produced use a similar technique, possibly relying on other resopurces for the base images though. For reference, since I was creating dozens of texture and bump maps for clothes, hair, and figures. BTW, I had less than three to four hours per figure for all maps and bumps. Wow, that looks great Papu! Look at the strong chin of that guy, those powerful eyes. Really handsome, who is it? LOL, I do like the work youve done so far. I never thought that this picture could have this result. Hats off to you! One remark: set the focal of the camera used to 100mm or more when you make a closeup. Heads will have a more natural look instead of the stretched egg form. I usually have my Main Camera Focal at 200mm, but that maybe a bit too extreme. And ehm, what newsgroups would that be :-P? If youre willing to share the final head texture Id really like to get it and play with it for my own use... Maxx :-)

The camera settings are a real mystery to me so thank you :) I would really love a side view of the face... would make finishing the texture so much easier! What do you say? pretty please :) Of course I will send it to you once it is finished!

Would be nice to get it (your face :) in the same state as it is in the first pic, but clean-shaven would be ok too :) Of course the body is a different matter altogether, would you be willing to photograph all of it - including genitalia (ok, I just want the pics ;) - Or maybe the head is enough? But if you want a whole body texture, I'd be willing to try it. But that would require lots of photos :) I'm getting greedy here, but I would really LOVE some neck shots, and if you could shave your hair so I could make the whole head ;)
