Hi Flog, I gave up waiting in the end I'm afraid but I understand what you want to do. I've been animating using Poser and Flash for several years now so if there's any help I can give just ask. I mostly hang out with the other Poser animators over on Poseamation (Yahoo group)we'd be pleased to review your movie, be prepared for some criticism though. Oh, it's just loaded and I can tell you immediately how to reduce your file size. You've too much detail there, that's costly in file size. Flash can handle the transparency in gif files so to get the same effects experiment with just having the one Bryce sky, give it a layer of it's own, same thing with the building, a layer of it's own and move it using tweens. A simple preloader is just to use the 'if frame is loaded' and 'go to and play' actions. 1st frame plays to frame 3, frame 3 has go to and play 1 plus if frame is loaded go to and play frame 4, a small animation on the three frames completes it.
Hey Saxon where is Posemation, I just got back from vacation, and sure would love some tips. I'm trying to cut it down, animated gif would handle the transparency? Hmmm sounds good, it would deeply reduce the size for sure. Don't you wish flash handled transparency better. Man the animations would rock even more wouldn't they. Poser exports to flash but dang, the size is bigger than importing a big old detailed jpeg. Thanks for the suggestion, I need to hang out at poseamation, can you direct me there? Thanks
Cool animation! Definitely keep working on it. I know that animating can be a pain in the rear sometimes but I beleive the work is well worth it. Good job! Looking forward to the version with sound! :) BTW: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PoseAmation (The link to Poseamation that Saxon mentioned) All the best, Sam http://www.thinkingdragon.com

http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view.php?id=37312 Above is a link to a little cartoon I am working on, this is really a test animation, experiment in trying to learn how to reduce size, have real looking 3d, and how to animate a good fight scene and use motion blurs. Still in the experiment stage, this is for my upcoming series. Shawn aka Flog
