I can't seem to get the night sky very dark & without clouds. I have no cloud plane, disabled sun, enabled starfield . I alway see light, clouds, but no stars or black/clear sKy. If I turn the atmosphere off, then there are no stars, & I can make the sky black. Please advise. Pack

If your using Bryce4 or above I beleive there is a Sky Preset of what your looking for. In the preset thumbnails it just looks like a pitch black sky but the readout for it will tell you when you've picked the one with a starfield. DM aka Nite Miner

If you are using Bryce 3D there are a couple of presets out there that will give you a black sky. I downloaded one or two somewhere but am not really sure where at this moment. If you need it for Bryce 3D drop me an e-mail and I will see if I can find the download page for you. autoloader@hotmail.com

On the sky and fog pallet, turn atmosphere off from the dropdown menu (color bar will turn blue) change the color picker to black. then disable sunlight.
