Subject: Vicki2 MTs not saved in pose?

Voluminous ( ) posted Sun, 25 November 2001 at 8:54 PM · edited Sat, 01 February 2025 at 11:52 PM

Hi, I set up a few poses for Vicki2, but when I load other poses I've made just moments earlier, some or all morph targets do not resume their values. Case in point, her breast MTs for bending over stayed when I loaded a standing-upright pose, which was not something from a stock directory. The joints seem to recall fine, but the morph targets are giving me trouble...? Help! ^_^ Thanks, Vol

There's an option box to include morph targets in the pose and you need to select that. It shows up in the save posedialogue box each time you save a pose to the library. However, V2 uses a lot of full body morphs. ie morphs which affect multiple body parts at a time. Those are controlled with ERC and ERC dials cannot be saved to poses, so if you use the full body morphs, you won't be able to save the settings as part of your pose. You CAN get them into the pose by hand editing it in a text editor, but let's not get into that.

Thanks, Ajax. Gee, kinda mutes the usefulness of full-body morphs, doesn't it? Aside from if you intend the figure to be a certain way throughout an animation. I hope individual body part MTs get saved in poses OK, and I'm grateful for the info! Vol
