Apparently I've started a tradition. I made an advent calendar (I think at least our Finnish friend knows what that is!!) for our grandkids, and other little friends of us. My probelm is that I've been pretty under the weather with bronchitus and sinus infection. The antibiotics has started to kcick in, BUT then our ISP gave me some serious tech problems. I've been fighting them for 2 days to finally get us back up!! GRRRR.. BUT Now I'm running out of time. I found the little cute kittie last year. It's a royalty free pic, - and the kids love it. I had planned to make an image this year, - but, - the bugs and the vt bugs got to me! :( Can anybody help me find a cute 2001 advent calendar picture that is royalty free??? I'm working with adding 5 new little "nisses" (santas) to the first page. I guess we're getting popular. *lol*... Thanks for any hugs, help, kicks in the butt, chicken soup or whatever!! :) Britt

I took some pictures last year in Universal, - of the "Grinch who stole Christmas". Not exactly what I had in mind for the calendar. But is it a workable idea??? There is a lot of cleaning up to do... and some texting etc. But is it usable?? Britt

Thank you Alpha! :) I decided to go with it. After all the first door in the calendar is to be opened today, - so I thought it more important to actually get it up and working! Phew! I'm done! lol Now I'll edit the first page in my own tempo, and add the 5 kids. They might be disappointed that they're not there already, but at least they can open the calendar. :) And for those of you with kids, - It's actually turned out pretty well. There are craft ideas, games, stories, traditions and lots more for the kids. So feel free to open a daily door till Dec. 25th. Britt
