Hello again, I have one more question please. Where do the PZ3 files go? Are they another file that needs to be imported then saved? Thank you all for answering my questions:) Moonbow

Moon, you can place teh pz3 anywhere on your drive.... all you have to do is open it with Poser.. i.e. file open... it's the scene file for Poser 8 ) it'll load up lights, camera position etc... then if you wish you can save parts into your library for "easier" loading later... CHeers

You might want to read any readme files that come with your stuff. Sometimes an artist has made everything so that it all should be in the same folder. That could be critical.

I'm till fine-tuning an approach that makes sense. What I'm doing now is this: 1.) I organize all my downloaded files, and keep the original zipped format. I have categories such as characters, poses, props, etc. I save all my downloaded files in those categories. These are the files that I will copy to CD once I have enough to fill a CD. I then have a folder where I have the same organization of categories. I unzip those files to those corresponding folders. Then I check out any instructions, and install from there. Once the stuff is installed, I can delete the unzipped folders. I usually try to make CD's of my zipped files. 1.) Characters CD 2.) Pose CD 3.) Props CD etc. I just went through my entire collection of superheroes that was downloaded from the 3DCC. I made up about 3 CD's, including a thumbnail for every character.
