The nudity tag isn't "visible" is it? It depends on your profile settings. If your profile is set to not show nudity, then those thumbnails simply won't appear. Or is that the part that's not working? If your profile says no nudity, and you can still see it, you might want to let one of the admins know. They'll want to get that fixed :-)
OK, I am thinking of people who follow a link from my web site to my Renderosity Gallery. These are friends or family who don't even belong to Renderosity. I want them to see my gallery, but I want them to know if one of my larger pictures is nude. I'd like to change my thumbs so they don't show the nude picture on the thumbs. If the word Nudity shows up in the item description, they can choose not to click on the thumbnail.
Eirian is right, the nudity flag doesn't show up in the gallery like it does here in the forums... if you check the box during your upload that says "Nudity" then vistors who have opted not to show nudity when browsing the gallery will not see that thumbnail... I'm not sure what happens if someone is logged in as Guest... it may be set to automatically not show nudity in the gallery... but like I said, I dunno... You could do what I do, and put - Nudity after your title, so that people who do choose to view nudity in the gallery will no as well... people I work with often visit my gallery, and if they're doing it from work, they can avoid the nude images... that's the reason I always add that little tag to my titles... though I think I have more nude pin ups than anything... shrug
Ron, the situation is hopeless. If your wife is a minister, you can't dabble in these waters. If you conspiciously tag an image as 'nude', do you really think that the parishioners of Ms. Rev. Knight will pass over it? Your only hope is to change your name, your fingerprints, get a facelift, a Swiss bank account, and leave town.
Teehee. I think many of her parishioners don't even own a computer, or don't really care about anything I do. Maybe I did make a mistake by using my real name for a username here, and putting a link to my gallery on my personal web site. The problem is I couldn't think of a good name for an alter ego, and most of my friends and relatives got tired of my using alter egos years ago. They all said "WE know you as Ron Knights, so stay that way."
Of course, I just had to go and check out your gallery. Nice work. I espically like the Good Michael Adventruer and the Mrs. Santa pictures. Don't worry, be happy. ;) It beats the cosmetic surgery and sulphic acid on the fingers routine kelley suggests. But in general, I think it is best policy to crop the thumbs (the pictures, not the ones on your hands!) so that no nudity shows up unbidden. And hopefully your wife has a very open minded congregation. jon

I'm struggling to figure this out. I thought there was an option in our Galleries that we could check to inform people that a picture contained nudity. That way they could choose whether or not to click on the thumbnail to see the larger picture. I keep looking at my own gallery, and I don't see the nudity tag any more. I could swear I checked a box for that when uploading my latest nudes. I'm in a quandry here. I have some friends or relatives who might not really want to see my nude pictures. My wife is a minister, and some of her parishioners might visit my site or check out my Renderosity Gallery. I've been thinking of redoing my thumbs so they don't show the nudity, but using the nudity tag so someone would know. Now did we somehow lose the nudity tag? Or am I going blind?!
